Everyone ignore this idiot, when I asked him what he had heard he said he wouldnt say because its not fair on Gleeson, so when I asked why he posted on a popular internet forum has anyone heard anything then, he didnt reply

I'm not a idiot and asked a simple question.

I only asked if any Wigan fans had heard anything about gleeson as I was told something yesterday that I didn't know was common knowledge or was just idle gossip.

I'm not going to say what I heard as I'm not into the spreading idle gossip business.

Although I want him to stay in the game I'd be surprised if he stays in rugby league. The lad's got problems with injuries which could well limit the length of his playing career. He'd be much better of going for the money of union and playing a game where, for his playing position, is far less demanding.
Reckon he'll sign for Sale.

I thought he played pretty well last night to be fair (bearing it was his first full game back from injury).
He was involved in the gamebreaker in getting in between Charnley and Tomkins, had we scored there it would have been game over and probably a whitewash.

Thought he did little with ball in hand though, and looked to pass it on quickly at nearly every opportunity rather than trying to make things happen, which he needed to do with no Pryce.

If that's the sort of person he is, then saints and rugby league are better without him.

I am not really saying that he would do that. I am just pre-empting my anger toward him if he does switch.

His lack of interest is a symptom and not the cause of this proposed move. Without wanting to have a go, it seems like a lot of Saints fans are not quite as upset as they should be about losing a great talent to the darkside, and are happy to lie to themselves that this is a good thing for their club and RL in general.

Depends when (if) he goes. He's out of contract at the end of this season; if he plays it out he's a free agent, if he leaves straight away then yeah, I'd think so.

Good grief ... RU get Eastmond and, in exchange, Saints get an old crock who they were well shot of over a year ago.

I appreciate they probably haven't much choice and that it'll only be a short-term thing, but if any situ underlined the current differences between RL and RU it's this one (especially if Eastmond goes to Sale, who are hardly a go-ahead glamour club).

Would be a mess for Hull as well. They were crying out for a new halfback to offer cover anyway with Long and Horne's injury history.

So if they lose their main playmaker a few days into the season it's a blow to them.

If Eastmond goes it will not be till the end of the year I assume, cant see Saints wanting Long back for 2012.

Obst is a blinding little player, much better 9 than half but will do a good job for them, he has stagnated a little of late at Trinity but that is probably to do with the whole situation down there, hopefully at Hull he will get some of the recognition he deserves.

I remember seeing him play for Whitehaven a few times. An excellent 7 at that level. Great kicking game too.

With the news at Wakefield where most of the players have become available as a free for all, which is very sad in my opinion, I would hope that we would be making enquiries about Aaron Murphy. Excellent young player who I would like to stay at Wakefield but it looks like he will be leaving.
