Quote ="Grimmy"Then why have a prop at prop? Might as well have another backrower there instead if they're not going to drive it in hard. I know what people are saying about playing four props but I just really don't rate Prescott and think Tuson looks a much better player to have in the team'"
And 25+ appearances this season (Basically picked every time he's been fit) seems to suggest MAguire does rate him.
As far him not Driving it in Hard, Are you having a Laugh! I do admit that he's got to work on his Penalties etc but the Impact at Contact and how much he takes out of the Opposition forwards in attack & Defence is Pretty Good.
PS
All this talk of him Hitting & Dropping! Some people must be watching a different game to me, it's only a couple of months ago the ones who dint' want Prescott in the team were complaing he did too much wrestling etc AFTER contact and O'Carroll was a better player because he hit & Dropped and got a Quicker PTB!
Basically, until O'C or Mossop etc are back i.e Next season, then we Go with 4 x Main line props & 3 x Back rowers & a Back up 9.

When the two men in your sig went off v Leeds our momentum quickly ended, I don't think that's any coincidence. If one of them was on the bench we wouldn't have that lull after 20 mins. Also starting Feka in a match that's likely to start with loads of big hits and maybe some biff can't be that ridiculous an idea. I'd rather have him on then than when the teams settle down and start moving the ball about.'"
It also coincided with Piggy going off and Tuson & MM coming on, don't try & lay it all at Prescott/Fekas Door.
I agree that we lose something when Coley/Fielden go off, but it certainly Helps when it's Prescott & Feka coming on to replace them rather than Tuson/Hansen.
I think it's been underestimated how much we missed Feka in the Leeds game to carry on the momentum that Fielden & Coley gave us, it was as Big a problem as losing Deacon and reshuffling.
