Thats something how i see it lining up. Surprised with the coaches picks tbh well the 4 second row options Faiumu, fa'alongo, Anderson and Soliola due to the amount of back rowers already in the team and i cant really see them being in front of the likes of O'Donnell and Menzies.

Monaghan is best hooker in the league imo. And as a Wigan fan you'll understand how hard that is for me to say!

I wouldnt have put Buderus in over him but he was selected as captain so suppose thats how it goes really.

I don't want ANY of our players anywhere near this match. I hope Bitcon gives them all extra bench presses or hamstring pulls and tweaks all their muscles. Even if they get injured making toast or mowing the lawn, as long as they come back to Wigan the week after, I'm fine with that.

Why on earth are they playing this meaningless fixture on a Friday before a round of SL games? Surely if the RFL want a fixture like this, they should have played it on the Friday prior to the Challenge Cup Semis, and only pick players from the SL clubs not involved in serious competition that weekend.

The aussies still play the league when state of origin is on an I think they still play it this weekend when the aussies face the kiwis. It will show which teams have the squad depth.

Full Aussie program this weekend, they also have the Country v City representative game to contend with. Only players who can rep NSW will be picked for that one.

That and the Red England kit are both very smart imo.

A reasonable team and if they play as they can who knows the result.

The change I would make is to bring in (numbers allowing) David Solomona for Louis Anderson a craft player for possibly a solid one. If the exiles turn up will be close either way. The weakness I think they have is in front row but will wait and see

I think you'll find this is Round 9 and over half the teams have byes. Also I think Round 11 when the SoO starts most of the teams have byes.

While I hope England are tested and do well, we are so far behind internationally, club rugby is far more important.

Looks pretty good tbh - thought when people had complained it was going to be like the one the antipodeans played in against cumbria (?) a few years back - the half NZ / half Aussie one! Now that was a mess! I'm happy with that tbh - wouldnt mind one of them actually - nice mix of the Aus and NZ colours.

Would a three match series of Antips v a Brit/French as a permanent fixture not get the juices going in the future.
