Coming from someone who thinks using the Holocaust to justify their self is ok (in a game of outright self-indulgent one up man ship) then i will take that as a compliment ,if it means not being has much of a low life as you . just because someone else used that statement in argument does not make it right for you to use , in fact it makes it a hole lot worse absolute hypocrisy at its lowest level and you're an expert .

Considering your very strange aversion to explaining why you think perhaps was the integral part of the statement which is even wierder considering you brought it up, I can only surmise you are THAT naive to believe prefacing a sentence with an uncertain adverb removes the potential for offence, but strangley you darent admit that.

I'm not offended as I understand what perhaps means. "Perhaps" it might have helped if you understood what "perhaps" means - see what I did there.

I understand what perhaps means, i just think it is very naive to say that it makes a fundemental difference to the potential offence of a statement, ''perhaps' you do but as i say you have to be particularly naive to think so, however scared you are to admit it.

If people don't have the capacity to understand certain simple words they'll always be offended by something.

And if people believe that prefacing a statement with perhaps removes the potential for offence then we can justify any statement, however offensive simply by starting the sentence with an uncertain adverb.

Perhaps if people didn't read what they want into things they might not be offended so easily.
