I think hj is the obvious choice, a semi at Huddersfield would probably get about 17k (with 4k missing the start due to traffic). Guaranteed sell out, maybe the rfl are scanning some northwest championship football grounds to see if they're available

my take on this is that beeb and RFL arranged it, we were Galpharm , sunday......maybe the Galpharm management have just realised Hudds town play saturday and they cant manage the turn round.

I wouldn't be comfortable with Blackpool because the length of the pitch - I seem to recall the commentators saying at the Northern Rail final that the goal lines were only actually 85 metres apart.

I think it is odds on there will be a game at Huddersfield on the Sunday the only issue is which one. The turnaround would not be an issue as they are used to back to back games. |

League express reckons it's between Widnes and warrington but they thought Wigan may refuse to play it at Widnes.
I'm guessing that's the delay and if it is then I can't say I'm surprised the RFL have made a balls up of it. Are they not aware Saints home ground is currently Widnes?
