Should have been sent off that water carrier, in cricket you get 5 runs if the ball hits the wicket keepers helmet when he isn't wearing it and it is on the floor as it is stopping the ball going for four, something should apply in RL.

We should have got a penalty at least, we had an overlap and could have scored, it was a disgrace.

He wasn't the water boy, he was the physio who had been dealing with an injury I think but instead of waiting for play to go past him he decided to get off sharpish and ended up in the attacking line of Wigan.

That said I still expect the RFL to do something daft like penalise us for letting him get involved in our attack

What I didn't understand was Smiths decision. Once the ball hit the HKR "messenger" it should have been a scrum with head and feed to Wigan. I'm sure Mr. Cummings will be having a word at the referees review meeting on Monday.

If the teams want them on the pitch so much then the rule needs to be changed.

If they get in the way like lastnight then its a penalty to the attacking side.. if its the attacks sides fault then its the handover.

I was sat right behind the Hull KR bench and to be fair the match commisioner (not the ref's assistant) went over to the physio who was caught in the Wigan attacking line and had a quiet word.

Back to the water carrier and the ref though, I thought it was shocking that Smith didn't do anything when the ball hit him. With the way Smith was reffing though it was typical. His "10 metres" was about 4 metres shorter when we were attacking rather than defending. And he had the nerve to keep penalising us for offside!

ref decided there was no advantage to KR and waved play on.

imo the ball didnt get to the intended reciever, but was deflected to a dummy runner, therefore it should have been penalty to wigan for obstruction imo.

ref should have blown up anyway and gone to the bench and given the guy a yellow card, and the coaching staff a bolloxing. Didnt they start to give out yellow cards a couple of seasons back for that sort of thing..ie..too much coming on???
