It's a good idea in respect of supporting our amateur clubs, but most Wigan clubs are rivals when it comes to playing each other and I'm certain most wouldn't purchase a kit which is based on another another Wigan club.

A glimpse of the color, I can't decide is that dark blue or the rumored purple?

Looks to be a similar blue to the 2008 away shirt (on my screen at least)

Alex, I don't think it would be a problem as long as the design is different to the amateur clubs shirt. For instance a black and green hooped shirt could be the St. Pats year. Blue and gold hoops could be used for St James etc etc

Purple and navy? Very nice. Nice to see something a bit different.
When you consider the atrocities of 2011 this looks great.

Both my lads support the Arsenal as well as Wigan RL, so I only to get one away kit.

Superb shirt that IMO.

The home ones nice but there wasn't enough of a difference to the 2012 kit to twist my arm but this one has.

I do like the fact that in this day and age of numerous shirt sponsors, we only have the one main one on the front of the shirt. Ok we have about 10 on the back and the sleeves, but I hate it on other teams kits that there's about 5 different sponsors on the collar, chest and wherever else on the front of the shirt. I think we're the only team who does this

not sure i would want to walk round in a Pats, judes, cuthberts etc shirt....and suspect many others dont. i think it would be detrimental to shirt sales. But nice idea..maybe as a one off for the annual community game?share of proceeds going to nominated amateur side each year?

ewww, I don't like it. Mostly because wearing purple makes me look too pasty....!

Wigan away shirt is the best for next year along with Catalans home jersey. Very good design and colour scheme.

I'm made up with it. I always tend to prefer our blue kits as blue is one of my favourite colours but this shirt has both my favourite colours combined. When I saw this morning that it was rumoured to be purple, I was hoping that it would be! Just hope I can manage to buy it without the ugly sponsors on the back...

It's different but I like it.

Not a massive fan of the away shirt, but just noticed on both home and away the Applicado sponsorship logo has been slightly tweaked -

Not sure if this has been picked up before but think it looks brilliant and has obviously been modified to make their trademark arrow look like its the ball going over the posts....whoever came up with that TOP MARKS! Subtle but a great change!
