One of the best (& not just because of the result) games I've seen in a very long time.

A very nice change to the cross we've become accustomed to.

Yeah it was “proper” game that. Tough, relentless, fast. You were more aggressive than us after the opening 30 and we made some sloppy mistakes and lost some composure. Greenwood had his best game for you I thought and Singleton excellent.

The pass for French’s try and lack of a red for Greenwood would be my only gripes but neither of those things would have changed the result I don’t think.

Good game from the referee too, would we have got the same flow from prima donnas Thaler & Hicks? Probably not.

Fair play on calling it as you saw it. By the same token I think if Walmsley plays we’re further behind after half an hour but who knows. I thought the Greenwood fuss was a sign of how health and safety friendly the game has gone. Yes it wasn’t clever but the outrage by the Sky team was just pathetic.

I now know why Graham is retiring at the end of the season, he was a shadow of his former self.

I think AW makes it 12-4 at HT. He ceetainly doesn't make it the usual 20 point deficit.

About right I feel. Graham and Lees were easy to handle but the whole Saints team play at a fast pace and add Walmsley in and I feel we fall a little further behind.

Wasnt a forward pass by Leuluai either despite all.of the outrage. A lot of people dont seem to know what a forward pass actually is. Pause the twitter replay on 0.44 - you'll see it comes backwards out of Leuluai's hands - it doesnt matter if it ends up in front of the passer.

Terrific all round display - Saints with Walmsley likely still have the edge but it was great to see us so dominant and aggressive in that 2nd half. Dont think I'd be messing around too much with that 17 - bar maybe replacing Clubb with George Burgess if he can get somewhat fit.

Before the wire game did he make a snide comment about Endacott? Possibly an in joke with Carney?

They were moaning about Kendall calling Amor offside in the build up to a try and how refs shouldn’t do that as it gives the attacking side an advantage. Roby has Made a career of jumping out of dummy half and taking advantage of players either offside or not square. Also spoke about the high shots from our side but seemed to overlook Bentley and Lees messing around at the play of the ball constantly.

Watched that garbage and really didn’t understand the pitch comment particularly given Saints were trying to play down the middle all night and we were playing the more expansive edge stuff.

If anything a heavy pitch helped Saints.

Saying refs shouldn’t call players offside? What was all that about? He blows a penalty they will be moaning he isn’t talking enough. Same for both sides.
