We were average on Friday night according to most of the posts on the Wire board and it was Saints poor performance more then our good one that led to that scoreline.

That was even more crazy then some Wigan fans giving you no credit for today.

As it is it sounds like you've been very good and it's clear as day that Wigan and Wire are the 2 best sides in this league.

It was. You were great in the first half. But had we had any semblence of composure we would have scored more than the two tries we did score in the second half. Everyone only has to look at what happened at Cas and at other times to know that you are very beatable in the second half this season. We managed to grab a draw with you in the first game of the season that way and we were a goal kick away from beating you. Don't kid yourselves. You are a one half team this year. Warrington, however, can do you at any time during the 80 minutes and personally I'm expecting a proper drubbing from them on Friday night (as opposed to the one half drubbing that Wigan gave us).

We were all over you (only for Eastmond intercepting Tomkins pass, we would have had the game won 22-0). With Fifteen to go, we knocked on in our own 20, you scored. You were then given multiple penalties to help you up the field from which you scored again.

At the DW, we were nowhere near our best, and we still beat you.

I didn't expect Hull KR to beat wire today, but I was hoping they could give them a really tough game to make the win harder for them on friday. Looks like they had an easy sunday afternoon.

If their pack is as wet as it was on Friday, you'll crucify them. The main lesson any fan from any team can take from Friday is that if you control the game (as Wigan did for an hour), and keep Graham and Roby quiet then Saints are nothing special.

Let Roby play the game on his terms, and Saints look a different team. And we're the ones supposed to be reliant on 1 player...

I'm distraught.... I think i may become a latics fan... Its all too much... I can't take anymore... having to admit we are just second best to the Wolfs....!!!!!

Wigan have a habit of taking their foot off the gas in certain games but not really in games that matter. We've done it against sides like Bradford, Quins and Cas but not really against the big sides apart from maybe in Cardiff against yourselfs.

When the cup games and play off games come round we won't be going to sleep. We proved that against Saints in the Grand Final.

I read a few Saints fans trying to take crumbs of comfort out of these Wigan defeats saying it's more your poor play then our good play that decides these games. That's totally untrue IMO. The games over the past couple of years have looked like a Wigan side being that comfortable in itself that they can flick the intensity up when needed and they have too much. We play as a team and play tough, aggressive rugby against you and your lads don't seem up for it.

After years of getting shown up by Saints it's a very sweet feeling.

Did your awesome rugby make them knock on about 10 times in first 30 mins ?

we knocked on in similar amounts in the first ten as well....our defence was intense though...forcing them into errors.
