Fell out with Nathan Brown at the start of the season, needs to work harder in defence but go forward and aggression he has bucket fulls.

| Changes need to be made.
A coach is needed, Noble's time of tactical inept, non existent motivation and poor choice making should come to an end sooner rather than later.
A prop forward who is capable of breaking a tackle and leading our forwards.
A half back who is a good organiser and capable of leading the team around the field with good passing and kicking.
Its all easy to say this but I don't know names of realistic targets but IL needs to find them ASAP before we can progress as a team

Hopefully, all his family and girlfriends family are from Wigan/St Helens so that would sway it.

| I know it won't be done, because IL will lose money, but players like T. Smith, Bailey, Phelps, players who will go at the end of the season, should not put on the Wigan shirt again.
Why is Mossop good enough for a top 4 team but not a 7th and under? Currently Mossop would cover what Bailey gives.
Briscoe would love to put that No1 cherry and white shirt on again, if we had the right coach. Think with a coach like Morgan, we'd have him at Wigan next season without a doubt.
The number 7 shirt, I think Myler as to be introduced to the side, yes Wire are in for him, but the crowds they get, the team they have, the staff the factilties, don't come close to us. He'd only go to Wire if the money was far far better, because tbh Wire don't offer much more then Salford in my opinion.
The props. Luke Burgess and LMS would be ideal to bring into our pack, keeping Fielden, Feka and O'Carroll (Prescott) Loan deal somewhere.
End of 2010 season, the likes of Fielden and Feka should go, simply not offering enough, but maybe this will change under the right coach.
I have to admit 'Justin Morgan' as to be our man for the job.

Would agree with most of that getting them is a different matter, one thing is for sure Lenegan must now be strict and get rid of the dead wood, we have the chance with players coming off contract this year and next and if we don't this will only prolong are problems.

| Main priority at the minute has to be a new coach.
As much as I want an experienced Aussie, I want us to more away from signing the Aussies.
Justin Morgan, fits our bill, our players need an encouraging coach, who knows what direction he wants to take the club, he's worked very at Hull KR without the £££, imagine him with our potential and our £££. He'd bring a great future to the club.
If Bailey leaves at the end of the season, it still leaves us with 4 players fighting for 2 second row spots, Hock, J. Tomkins, Hansen and Mossop.
Hock will play that role no matter what, the other side should be a fight between J. Tomkins and Mossop for next year, Hansen I feel should go, he could be used in an exchange deal for another player within the league.
T. Smith's defence last night was shocking as usual, makes me wonder is he actual wanting to play for us? But then again the way his playing he's about second grade standard back in Oz.
IL is going to have to spend big, whether it be over here or over in Oz, I'd much prefer to see 2/3 GB players and a young talented GB Coach signed up with great potential, then some well scouted but average Aussies, tagged with a huge risk of not performing, least signing the GB players that play SL every week, have proven they can play this type of game. Where as the Aussies, it's a huge gamble as too whether they will take to this style of game.

| Personally would like to see the following out:
Bailey
Coley
Smith
Phelps
Hansen Like mark 1987 says part of an exchange deal if possible.
And personally would like to bring in:
Nathan Cayless
Richie Myler
And use some of the young kids, perhaps in rotation so we don't overwhelm them.
It's been to easy to get a spot in the team and although more players will leave the club than come in this will reduce the turn over off the squad as home grown talent can take there places. And I would hope that if Lenegan gets the slightest sniff that perhaps Riddel, Roberts or anybody else are feeling home sick than he gets them on the first flight home.

so in most respects we're the polar opposites of the aussies!
Nobody still talking about brough to wigan btw? Seeing as a lot of people seem against Orford, bringing in Brough whos non-quota, creative KICKING scrum half to play alongside sam could work quite well i think.
Just got reminded before when watchin the sl show, one of the commentators mentioned that its still not decided what he's doing next year.

but i personally can't see saints signing a scrum half this year, Eastmond seems to be getting a lot more playing time no he's over his injury, surely bringing in someone else would hinder his development.
The main culprits i think will be us and wire, take your pick out of myler, brough and orford, even though i have a sneaky suspicion myler will stay at salford for another year and orford may resign.

Brough will go to Saints
Orford will stay at Manly
Myler will go to Warrington with Monaghan going to Canberra and Briers having one last season before going into coaching the 18s.
We will sign Robbie Paul and Joel Clinton get to the challenge cup final against Saints get beat 25 - 14 finish 7th and get to semis getting beat off saints and it will be Saints Hull KR grand final and Noble will have another year here. In the meantime we will carry on backwards with crap players.
Smith - Parramatta
Coley - Salford
Bailey - Salford
Phelps, Pryce and Carmont all sign for one year.
I dont want this to happen but I could really see it happening.

Can see Myler staying at Salford for another year until his contract is up. Then, if he carries on playing like he is, he'll be able to take his pick of offers from most of the SL clubs and probably union.
Of those three I think Orford is the most likely to be seen in a Wigan shirt sometime soon.

Look at it this way, Orford is now a much better option than Long and we should be in for him.
Im not having a pop, I was discussing things with you, something which is quite a good argument, between Long and Orford. You can rip my arguments to pieces if you wish, if it gives you some sort of kick, but like someone else said you have a chip on your shoulder.
My argument is hardly lame as well, however your predictable approach is, me and clearly a few others on here find it laughable.
Just for the record, we are on RLfans not on question time. You don't have to be so defencive about your party.'"

If Lenegan said we were interested in Signing Myler for those players plus a fee I'd happily throw in £100 quid towards the transfer, that's how much I believe the signing Of Myler along with N Cayless and a new coach would turn the club around.
