I think its very hit and miss, i agree with the previous poster not having Carroll alongside him has affected his ability to defend.

SO the rules for the next two years are. Right little confused with the overseas ruling - Overseas quota players - as per current rules i.e. Anyone unable to prove origins within EU - SO does this include all people with in the bold? All can't prove EU origins can they?

Rest of squad to be from players trained within same federation.
2011
At least 8 home grown players.
No more than 5 quota players.

Home grown players - any player still under 21 and/or has completed 3 years service with the same clubs academy set up.

9 - Riddell/Leuluai - Were does that leave Macca? Play like he as and what he doesn't get first team, doesn't sent a good meassge to other Acad players.

Save the money on the SH and buy two great Props and FB.

LMS and ???? who will help set the platform with Fielden, Feka and Prescott/O'Carroll for the Tomkins/Leuluai partnership to work.

Love us to have a half decent pop at Minichiello, let players like Bailey, Phelps, Coley and Pryce leave.

May I add that I think we will sign a halfback but only because Lenegan keeps saying we will, the big question is will it be a halfback that is any good.

Myler's had two bad weeks against us, your'll see the good side of Myler tonight, the sort of guy we need.

I don' think he was bad against us, he was playing behind a beaten pack and team really. The good thing about him in the two games against us was he did not go hiding.

I'll endorse that. He was magnificent.

We so need Myler + Briscoe next year, couldn't care less about the prop subject, keep the same pack till end of 2010, bringing in LMS and another mighty prop then.

So our backs will have no room. We need a top class pack to give our backs some space to put some points on.

Surely the key word here is creativity or in Wigan's case the lack of, off course that can only come from behind a dominating pack which we also lack.

ive heard we may be getting a prop this season . not sure whether its on loan or permanent but apparently one of our youngsters could be going the other way. apparently this player had a training ground punch up with another player and has created a bit of unrest within that team. ive been asked not to divulge the details but the source was believable as it was one of our pre season targets.
