Actually he was texing and then ten minutes later, he was involved in a car accident on the motorway where the other driver was drunk. The offence of texting whilst driving was wholly unconnected to the death of the drunk driver.

Wiki retired becuase he wasnt offered a decent contract afaik.

If IL offered him a contract now to play/coach for 3 years we would be sorted ie play this year and see how it goes playing wise beyond that. He could also coach the kids and with the likes of Wane and Radders bring back the professional work ethic that Wigan now miss.

He isn't getting Origin or International footy because he is behind Thurston and Prince for both Queensland and Australia. (I have no doubt if he was from NSW he would be there 7)

He is exactly what we are looking for. Quality kicking game long and short, leader and organiser, at a very good age (25). He is not out of contract but money talks and considering he's done just about everything in the NRL I am sure he would listen to a big offer.

Cronk is a quality player but sometimes he looks a little better than he is because he is surround ed by more quality players like Inglis, Slater and Cam Smith.

All aussie players are surrounded by more quality players

Cooper Cronk is an excellent scrum half.
How would he do though playing behind Wigan's beaten pack almost every week? Probably no better than Tommy.

Obviously props are the priority but we also need a SH

He would do better than Tommy IMO because he is an organiser unlike Tommy and also has a fantastic kicking game and Tommy's good when it comes to short kicking but poor when it comes to long kicking

Gleeson would be a beltin signing, can also play stand off which means we can rest tompkins and do without smith from time to time

Heard a rumour yesterday that Hock's off to Warrington & Gleeson is joining us. Apparently Noble's sick of Hock's drinking antics. I found this hard to believe but we're in need of a centre and we're blossomed with second rowers. I hope it's BS, we've have no spark what so ever in the pack, a part from Feka.

Don't see us letting Hock go, Noble was quoted a few weeks back saying he was applying himself much more.
