Just wondering if anyone knows of the date when next seasons fixtures are released? Wonder if Celtic at home is on the cards first game?

That is the one I want. Wigan could market the hell out of 'Tomkins vs Myler' saga all over the town, press, internet.

I like a good birthday jaunt away. The past two years have been Catalans away (14th June 200icon_cool.gif and Celtic away (13th June 2009). Here's hoping for Quins away 12th June 2010



I don't think we've been to London in the summer for a couple of years now.

I said a few weeks ago that i'd like us to play Wire at home first up.

It would ensure a 20k+ crowd instead of the shambolic attendance last year due to the timing of it.

Saints home on Easter Friday. Warrington home first game of season. Catalans away before the end of June.

Good Friday game is at Saints in 2010.

I hope we start away at Catalans, Harlequins or Celtic.

Shame that. Will be home for the week and would have loved it to have been at our place.

I've heard a rumour that Wigan may get the Barcelona game next season.

Did you go for the Wire game there?

I'd love the Celtic game in Wrexham as well but sadly I think Saints or Wire will get that one.

Anybody away but catalan remember the 1st 2 years we went there for the 1st game of season.I would think we will be at home 1st game as our proper 1st game last year was at hullfc.

If your refering to the rain, I remind you that we also got similar rain on Easter Sunday this year when we went.

I'm not one of these who thinks we should go deep summer. I'd rather go early when the Catalans are proven to be more vunerable at home. The weather isn't the attraction for me. It's the beer!



But in general I'd rather start with an early away game weekend that sees the hardcore fans out in numbers at any of the three places I mentioned. We've had a few seasons of starts like that (Catalans 06 & 07), Harlequins (08 & 09).

It would be nice to not have to go to Hull early on a Friday Night next year.

plus the first time we went it was lovely weather - we were on sky at the beach!

Its from a weather point of view would be nice to get them later in the season maybe last away game of season in sep would be nice. We mite even get leeds awat as we often play them early on in the season at wigan.

I know what you mean but I just think early to France just mean one less grim away trip here like Hull FC on a Friday!
