It's one thing them coming on giving instructions when they shouldn't be, but getting in the way of play and stopping a possible try is unacceptable. That man should of been sent off IMO!

The ref did nothing about it and made some shocking decisions.

Can't help but be a bit suspicious of things like that. Its not hard to simply fall back behind the defensive line so as not to disrupt play. To run right through the attacking line was either stupid or downright deliberate.

The KR "water carrier" (tactics and morale manager) in the orange top was nothing short of a complete clown. I watched for a while and the orange and yellow shirted muppets were on and off multiple times each while our female in orange came on once in the same period.

Hopefully the RFL will issue a few slapped wrists - running through the attacking line? D!ckhead.

I thought the rules said that the physios or water carriers could only come onto the pitch when their own team were in posession, and they had to stand behind the play, unless they are attending to somebody who is injured

Disgraceful. Thought the guy was Wigan staff at first due to him being stood in our attacking line. Surprised Smith didn't give a knock on against us, he was awful tonight!

But they shouldn't interrupt play, if they do the should be penalised just like if it was a lazy opposition player in an offside position who had interrupted our attack, I'm sure we had a 3 to 2 overlap at the time.

I think the ruling is that after a substitution you are allowed a coach BEHIND the line for 3 minutes to re-organise positions. Stupid rule in my opinion but all teams use it. If a pro team cannot re-organise itself then it's a poor state of play.
Having said that this guy was in the line. If he had stood still the play would have gone past him but he actually ran along in the same direction as the play was going.

Our water carriers stand within our own line, or behind... This was their water carrier interfering with play in our attacking line.

Didn't realise he was our water bloke, at the time I thought he must be yours (which would have been bad enough) he actually appeared to run deliberately through your line, that was ludicrous and for Smith to not say anything is incredible.

Anyone who is shouting for Ganson deserve everything they get. Short memories. People shouted for him last season but his performance in the play off semi at Stains was definitely not in our favour.
I repeat what I said last season when our lot shouted for him. He might well be the best ref at present but the only place I want Ganson is on the end of a rope.

Quite right and I an glad you think it was OTT as well. Yes water carriers come on and issue instructions but that was beyond the pale.

I was hoping one of our players would have handed him off or tackled him but given Smith was reffing he'd have probably sent the player off!

Should have been sent off that water carrier, in cricket you get 5 runs if the ball hits the wicket keepers helmet when he isn't wearing it and it is on the floor as it is stopping the ball going for four, something should apply in RL.

We should have got a penalty at least, we had an overlap and could have scored, it was a disgrace.

He wasn't the water boy, he was the physio who had been dealing with an injury I think but instead of waiting for play to go past him he decided to get off sharpish and ended up in the attacking line of Wigan.

Foolish? Yes but probably not deliberate.

That said I still expect the RFL to do something daft like penalise us for letting him get involved in our attack

Its like the ref/teacher off 'There's Only One Jimmy Grimble' where he heads the ball in the net for his schools team and says "Goal stands, it came off the ref". He might as well tackled one of the players.

Yes he was the one running on in Yellow last night
