Quote ="Agent Mulder"If you beat Catalans on Sunday then you will face us at the Stobart the following Saturday. You are having to pay full price for your game at home and then if you come to the stobart you will have to pay full price again. i.e. behind the sticks £20 and North Stand it is £25. there are Sen/junior concessions North stand concessions are £19 not sure of the East or West stand concessions though. I dread to think what price we will have to pay next year in our new ground. Why can't the RFL let us all have cheaper tickets like they do for the early CC games. It is much better to see big crowds than big empty spaces.'"
well said! i'm in two minds whether to go, one for the monetary reason and two because i have no money!
its a shame, i'm no season ticket holder and i'll admit to missing a few games this year, but even for fans like myself who just go when they can make it or can afford to, the game should be glamourising the playoffs if thats how they want the champions to be decided, not continually asking the people who keep them in their jobs to pay out extra on these so called "extra" games.
i do agree that season ticket holders or fans who can validate their attendance at 10+ home games etc should be entitled to at least one freebie or discount of some sort. maybe thats something the marketing gurus at wigan will decide upon next year when they realise we'll more than likely be ending the season in front of our lowest crowd. and that ISN'T due to the team we are facing. i reckon we wouldn't get much more than we did against saints last week if this was our last chance and we were playing them or wire. shame really but totally understandable from a fans' point of view.
RFL = Grrrrr!!!
