Back then RL was in the comfortable position of having an upper hand on RU finance wise.

These days RU is 10x even 100x wealthier and is slowly sucking the quality and media focus away from our game.

The problems run far deeper than individual clubs ups and downs.

Unfortunately Sky effectively own the game and are the only national media organisation giving the game publicity. If they say RL is improving there's no counter view.

I had to borrow cash from my dad to pay for the last few games.
Well worth it though!

There's no way on earth that I could give up my match day hot dog! They're so nice!
