| I know there are still a lot of results that could decide otherwise but our next 2 "away" games after Bradford will decide our season I think. They are in effect both 4 pointers win them both and 2nd is possible lose either and it's 3rd or 4th.
I think realistically the clubs target for 2017 was 2nd
Middle 8 I think 6th is best we can expect if we finish 2nd unless giants continue there meltdown

| You appear to be dismissing Fax who have the best form in the league currently. Finishing 5th is also a possibility

| I have to say that we have a very important run of games. Of the next seven games only Bradford and Dewsbury look easy. The rest are all in the mix for top four and we will need to perform. Remembering we play Fev twice, not only at Blackpool but at home the week after Toulouse.
Sixth would be my hope in the Middle 8s. I cannot see Hull KR doing a Leigh ,I think their best hope is promotion via The MPG.
We are not ready for Super League, last year we acquitted ourselves well and I hope we can do so again.

| You are right I didn't think about fax.
With KRs latest signing I would not be that surprised if they pulled off a shock. The route back to super league is by winning all your games against other champ teams which KR will probably do with ease, and beat one SL team, that s certainly not beyond them

Correct not to dismiss Fax, they are right in the mix for a top 4 place but best form in the league currently? They have yet to beat any of the top three in the league, they were firmly put in their place by Fev last week in the Cup and their run of wins prior to that game was all against teams outside the top 6.

| So both us and Fev coming off big wins to go up to Blackpool, hopefully we can keep the momentum going and get the points, we need to stop giving away free mtrs though

| Featherstone will be without the services of Oledzki who was the player that did the damage at Post Office Rd earlier in the season.

The club are pretty poor on injury updates.
Ideally a weekly or fortnightly update would be good.
Or when the 19 man match day squad is named.

Oledzki played well aginst London but was only on the field for 40 mins and to say he "did the damage" (other than one of your players going off injured after tackling him when the game was all over) is a bit far-fetched, especially as the decisive moments in the game (when the score went from 18-12 to 30-12) came when he was off the pitch. The MOTM votes on the Fev forum for that game were Davies 1st with 64 votes, Bostock 2nd with 59 and Briscoe 3rd with 28, I think Oledzki got 7 votes.
We (fev) will be without the services of Ulugia, Briscoe and Bostock though, all of whom have been outstanding this season (particularly the first two). We've got decent cover in those positions so on paper should still have a strong team out.
This looks by far the most interesting game of the weekend and as usual between the two teams looks very tough to predict.

| If I were coach I would only never name long term injuries I would never put injury updates out on a regular basis. To do that gives the opposition time to arrange their team around who we have / have not got available to play. Long term is different as the press will pack that up and announce it anyway. However I would not announce when long term injuries are going to be back until they name the weekly squad they are appearing in

| Davies, the bald headed guy. He is the one we need to stop. Always plays well against us.
