Out of the squad avaliable, who would you pick for your first 17 against Castleford?
FB: Dorn - I've said previously he should be playing FB, he isn't a 6.
W: Sharp - Let him keep his workload down, and he'll be fine.
C: Williamson - Has the handling skills to get the ball out quickly to Sharp
C: Clubb - Let him keep playing centre, stop moving him around.
W: O'Callaghan - Why not?
SO: Purdham - Let his influence take full effect.
SH: Gigot, Orr - Not decided on this position yet, Orr if hes 100% fit. Gigot, just give him a chance. Gale's had an extended run in the side.
P: Ward - Not an impact prop, and we haven't got any better.
H: Randall - Obviously.
P: Heckenberg - Haven't got any better really.
SR: Golden - Top tackler this year, iirc.
SR: LMS - let his influence take full effect, keep him on the pitch for as long as we can.
LF: Gale - can't hurt to have him in, and he seems to try.

Sub: Haggerty - Impact prop.
Sub: Williams - Give the lad a chance this season.
Sub: Esders - Sub for SR, and probably props.
Sub: Skee or Kaye, both can cover hooker if Chad gets tired, and imho, prefer the look of Skee when he played their against Catalans.

SH: Gale - Superb kicking game and gives his all no matter what
PR: LMS - Nuff said

SR: Mbu/Esders - No other options (don't rate Cougar)
LF: Williams - Would relish the chance to start and give 100%, poss rotation with Mbu.

Williams isn't a LF, and i would of included Mbu, but i thought he had an ankle injury, wasn't sure on when he would be back.
Haggy is an impact prop imo.

I would love to see Gigot to have a game this year, he plays very well in the reserves.
And i would also like to see Skee play.
Melling, the way Hall ran around him for one of his tries last week was pretty..

I've seen Williams play everywhere on the back row, bar hooker.

I'll take your word on Mbu, as I really haven't been paying much attention. Failing that, Purdham to SR/LF, Lamont in at C.

I'd like to see Rob playing at SO, the position he played when we beat Leeds, it helps us have an excuse to drop Dorn also


I wouldn't of thought Williams had the ball handling skills to play LF in super league, my fear of putting him there is that what happened to Gafa when put there against Wigan, could happen against Williams, but i guess you've seen him play more reserve games than i have, he does look quite impressive in the reserves though. imo.

That's why Purdo's so invaluable. Versatile, and bloody good wherever he plays.

Ok then, Williams to SR, Purdham to LF & Lamont at C. Happy now?
