Missed today and listened to the game on LBC but sounded very poor. How come Quins failed to defend the try just before half time from Deacon's free kick? Had the team left the field for half time?

Left the field? They NEVER came out!!

An appauling display by the Quins............we talk about getting more bums on seats, game day atmosphere etc etc, but the poor team performances, particularly at home, are killing this club.

BM said at the fan`s forum at the start of the season that he wasn`t bothered about having to win all our home games, as team performance was the more important issue........and quite frankly he is talking out of his backside. We are not delivering on any level, our home performances are particularly poor, we are not even making a game of it and we are getting stuffed too often. Like the Saints match it was all over by the 20 -25 minute. We will NEVER attract new fans with the rubbish we are churning out.

It`s like groundhog day every week, something has got to change. Perhaps BM has run out of ideas and he is not the saviour we thought.....we have ended up with a team of mostly average players, with average skills, who are clueless in attack, who despite a good start are also average in defence (or given recent scorelines should that be below average?) anyway, I think you can see a pattern forming.

As for the players......where has the enthusiasm gone? On todays performance you could be forgiven for thinking that Bradford were the ones fighting for a play-off position as our players seem uninterested and thinking about their holidays already. BM and the players can whine all they like about crowd numbers, crowd noise etc etc, but until they get their heads around delivering good performances at home (making a game of it would be a good start), they should think themselves lucky that the hard core of faithful and increasingly weary fans still turn up every week.

Quins had the easiest run-in out of all the play-off contenders, but BM and team seem determined to screw it up..........everything about Quins at the moment suggests that they can`t be bothered and can`t wait to see the season over........and no doubt we will repeat this sorry saga all over again next year

It is worth putting it into some sort of perspective and remembering that Bradford are a really poor side.

And that Bradford have won away at Saints and Leeds this season.....

Time to go Brian. Abysmal home record. Riddled by inconsistency. Team completely flat.

You missed 2000 thankfully, that was equally grim.

And it was [ithat[/i Bradford that turned up at the Stoop on Saturday. The usual Bradford is the one that turned up to Odsal the week before

Last week's game was a close fought but mediocre affair, and Quins were the better of two ordinary sides and deserved victors.

This week Bradford were efficient, but not brilliant. They got the basics right and played with vim and vigour, but weren't special. Quins were embarrassing and the final scoreline flattered us, not Bradford.

I don't know if anybody else noticed but the team were arguing with one another on the field - not a good sign.

Truly awful performance, nothing really positive to say about it.

It was good to see Purdo get his first tries of the season.

Now he won't have to do the naked run round the pitch.

I actually think that's a better sign than if they weren't during a performance like that.

Indeed, better than the silence of the past.

I tell you what, i'd really like to see LMS be given the captaincy next season as most of the time he looks to be the only one that is bothered.

I thought the player nearest the ball always put up a performance, BUT in defence only one player seemed bothered to make/miss the tackle and in attack nobody seemed to offer any options to the the ball carrier.

This sadly indicates a team with no team spirit. Come on Brian take them all down the pub and get some team spirit going or sack the prima donnas.

If you saw Huddersfield v Saints yesterday you would have seen a commited team who actually gave a better team no chance of winning. Attack and defence there were always 4 other players in support.

That must have seemed like a long season ?

2000 was awful, we just avoided relegation thanks to a worse Hudds side, and they beat us, and we went bust at the end of it IIRC

Was that not 4 wins all year, one being the last game away at Leeds?
I only remember beating Hull at home - which I think was Brendan Magnus' (maybe) last game after just arriving.
