Tomorrow I have 3 first time attendees coming with me to see the Mighty Quins. One of them is missing her beloved Millwall to join me, on condition that we watch the game on Sky (12.45 kick off).
Kings Bar will be showing Ashes, Wigan v Wire, then West Brom v Newcastle. Anyone know of a pub that is showing it in full? We'll hot foot it to the ground once it's over, obviously.

Bloomsbury was showing it, as was the Cabbage Patch so we were spoiled for choice.

The three 'noobs' enjoyed the game (and more importantly the sport!) but were disappointed at Quins display. "Why would people pay money to see players who don't even try?"
Still, they've agreed to come again. I'll convert them yet!

This is the problem. All 4 games in the summer at the stoop have been lost. Three have been blowout scores (Leeds, Saints, Bradford). Only one (Huddersfield) ended with a respectable scoreboard, but we never looked like winning. |

Have to agree PTB it really is a sickener. How can we build up new support at home when the team keeps letting us down. Winning your home games is crucial to success of the team in getting to and winning in the playoffs. Few teams can keep winning a high % of away games over a season  |
