Considering the amount of long term injuries to senior players and the amount of games when we have had problems fielding 17 fit players we have not done too badly. We have quite possibly, through necessity, fielded more young guns than any other team in the league. We have not trotted off abroad and bought veterans to keep us in the play offs. Add to this dubious suspensions. By that I mean we have been hit with suspensions for offences other teams have got away with ie Long and Thackery in the CC game (read the disciplinary results). It is not Macs fault he wasn't on the disciplinary panel. We have been our own worst enemies as masters of the dropped ball and silly penalties a number of times during the season but you cannot blame the coach for a player not gathering the ball. He trains them he doesn't go out and catch / offload the ball during the match for them. Keep Mac he's good for London and good for the game. Still wish we had finished higher and feel we deserved to we have produced some poor rugby but we have also produced some heart stopping, energetic, electrifying rugby.

think I'm quite well known for having a go at various coach's over the past 25plus years years but this idea of sacking MacD is really out of this world and I for one would never support it.

I had a go at TR for many seasons because his attitude and greed cost us Shaun Edwards as a coach and thereby our gtame lost a top coach to the other code. My other grip was that TR had no formal RL coaching qualifications and worse still he never attempted to obtain any either.

In BM we have a qualified coach who has had to work hard with a below average budget yet has been able to really develop a flow of local players which in the coming years will see QRL start to consolidate in the top six every season.......and once we increase the fan base to the level of the top 'traditional' flat cap clubs we will be scoping the silverware like they now do.

Finally while it would have been nice to see Terry M back in town think it is unfair to consider him in light of his excellent work at The Jungle. He should have become our coach six years ago and that would have saved us from that idiot T 'Teflon' R.......
