The fact they only just managed to turn over siddal, and same as us they have a short turnround, but after watching there game on Sunday they would have had a lot taken out of em, one of there main oomph players is banned! All that tied together works in our favour.
Yep they have a pretty decent squad but!

Neither did the player who took Sammut out with the high tackle on the try line. In fact he didnt even get put on report or a disciplinary. Refs really have double standards. We are continually asked to respect the officials but they need to respect the players and the fans. I agree things can be missed in a game but no way was that missed by any official. If there was doubt then he should ahve been placed on report as was our player.

Never been an apologist the Refs. I merely point out if players played by the rules you actually woukd not need refs.

The reason for the Garside incident being put on report by the way, was the way the tackle was completed, ref put it on report because he didn't see who the player was who lifted the legs. Hd had to makd z call on thd fiekd though hence thd penalty, the discip panel looked at it and decided there was no case, can't see a problem with that.
It was a free interchange though.

Being an apologist! Not every high shot is put on report! His shoes that are seen should and will be penalised, think the important word there us if seen.

Can't argue with the pictures but unless you are looking through the Refs eyes you can't say if he saw it or not. Why do you say bottled if though?

Thing us it either wasn't seen or as seen from the pictures wrongly not penalised, the Garside incident was deemed as an illegal tackle at the time probably driven by the injury, trust me it was nothing to do with crowd influence, the on report is not a punishment, it is "there is a doubt have a look" with the correct outcome in the end with no charge.

As I said previously it was on the try line and should have been a penalty try and a sin binning. The ref was the only person in the ground not to see it. In discussion with Bradford fans in the bar after the game they were gob smacked they got away with it. It was a bad high tackle which went unpunished by the ref and the disciplinary panel. Like I said earlier respect demands respect and this ref showed no care or compassion whatsoever towards Sammut in that tackle and the idiot even waved the touch judge away.

That picture also shows it is nowhere near the try line. Even if it was on the try line a penalty try can only be awarded if in the opinion of the officials a try was a certain outcome had the offence not been committed, in that case shown 2 in the tackle and too far from the line

Point is, it's gone, it wasn't penalised or put on report for what ever reason. Care and compassion! You may wish to believe otherwise but player safety is always top of the agenda for any match official.
