For me if the Giants hold on to the ball and stop trying to overplay on tackle two then the referee shouldn't be too much of a problem.

What I've enjoyed a bit this season (far and in-between) is Robinson taking a bit more control of the game, running at defenders and also kicking a bit - he really looks to have settled back into the scrum-half slot much more than last season.

agree about robinson taking the line on more, thought he was MOM against saints in the cup... he has missed alot of tackles so far this season but he i normally good in defence for his size..maybe needs a little help..he does get singles out and gets singles out on kicks by the opposition, they aim the ball and him - works too!

Yeah they kicked a lot early in the tackle count last season, but when kicking for position. This is OK with Danny's kicking game, but this season they seem to panick when near the oppositions try line and kick early rather than build pressure.

Lack of discipline had been the key factor for me this season. We are giving away field position and making ourselves have to work harder- but they STiLL keep giving away stupid penalties. Baloo needs to get that - and his interchanges- sorted.

We're trying to score off every tackle, which leads to us losing possession, which means we have to defend, we then give a penalty away for something, the opposition score, heads go down, confidence goes which leads to more penalties and lack of discipline, its a nasty vicious circle we're in right now and we need it to change.

get back to basics again, complete sets, kick and chase hard.. no silly pens on the last tackle

back to basics for me too, we just haven't made teams work hard to beat us this year at all.
