I've just watched the highlights on SLTV from our game and I still have no idea how they gave that Hodgson try. I didn't think it was a try at the time and still dont!

He's deserved that for all the hard work in the last few weeks.
He's turning into our best forward IMO

You only have to look at David Hodgson's reaction he walks back toward the 20 meter line expecting the restart not something you do if you believe you have just scored.
The pass to Hall before he kicks through for Maguires try is so far forward it is untrue. If the officials cannot spot that as forward they havwe no chance of getting marginal decision correct.

Leeds get away with multiple forward passes every week.

What a try by Larne - looks better on the highlights than it did at the ground !!

In a similar way, the pass to Hall looked forward at the ground and looks even further forward on the highlights.

Just seen it on the tries on sky, dear god, how far forward, its not even close

from those stats Grix is not a fullback. Too many mistackles and not enough yardage.
Having said that i think Lee Smith only made two succesful tackles all game and missed five which is shameful for an international back.

A bit harsh after ONE game

the stella kid, Grix had a steady game at Full Back vs Leeds Rhino's. He was not the worst player on the pitch by a long stretch. Grix needs a couple more games at full back with the rest of the 1st team for a proper opinion to be made

He threww the ball to no one three times each time on or near his own line. i would not call this steady. He looked ok fielding kicks but his performance hardly inspired confidence.
I actually don't think Grix is a bad player but not a fullback.

I take it he will be FB for Quins match as he was training at FB today at Leeds Rd. Just out of interest why not try Elliot Hodgson or does NB not think he is ready yet?

Elliot Hodgson has not even been playing fullback for the reserves. He has been moved to the wing

...because Grix was playing at FB.
