| i spoke to a lot of people last night before, during and after the game and most said the same thing, how we seem to panic during games and try things that aren't on, how we seem to want to score of every set and how we always seem to be looking to score the 'marquee' try every time, rather than just calm down and play out sets and get possession and turn the opposition around, once we started doing that at leeds it paid off.
and i suspect like many people im getting totally pee'd off by the crazy play we use where we pass the ball in front of our own line, we did it a few times last night IIRC after lunt scored, from the kick off where grix caught the ball then threw a crazy pass to no-one had it not been for robbo putting his body on the line to gather it leeds would have scored, i know the 2 hodgy's love this move but to me it's crazy, sheer lunacy. when you see other teams after a kick off they try and make some hard, fast yards away from their line, but we try to pass our way, which rarely works. maybe the coaches could shed some light on this strange and suicidal tactic?
also as well we need to learn to stop trying to get impossible offloads off all the time as it's costing us time and time again.
if we want to be contenders for honours we have to improve massively and cut out the basic errors that seem to be plaguing us and play a more controlled game as thats when we seem to be at our best.
thoughts??

| Agree about the stupid offloads but don't agree about the passing on kick returns, i think it's a great tactic.

| One of the first things I was taught as a kid in the 70's was....NEVER PASS THE BALL ACROSS THE FRONT OF YOUR OWN POSTS!...And we do it every week, which does my nerves no good at all. That pass last night, saved by Robboe, was ludicrous and and nearly made us a laughing stock. It's probably the only thing about Bodgy that I won't miss when he's gone.

| I have to say it the passes in front of the try line in the return of the kick make me sit with head in hand every week waiting for the mistake or the opposition try
it kills me
