Fans forum which was due next week has been moved - more details when I know.

Apologies for the annoying anyone who read the pre-editted topic.

Sorry - I initially posted the details as given to me, but then they were immediately changed because someone forgot NB had given the lads next week off for some deserved R&R.

Fans Forum has been rescheduled for 2nd June. There will be a Q&A session and opportunity to meet the different teams within the club.

More details will be announced later.

Huddersfield Giants supporters are informed that there will be a ‘Talentbuilder Fans Forum’ evening held at the Galpharm Stadium on Wednesday 2nd June – with a guest panel including members of the Giants first team squad and a leading RFL official.

The evening will take the form of a question and answer session and is free of charge for 2010 Season Ticket holders, with a suggested donation on the door to help aid the club’s youth development programme.

Giants stars Eorl Crabtree, Michael Lawrence, Shaun Lunt and Jamahl Lolesi will be joined by a leading RFL official to form the panel, which fans can pose questions too on the evening.

BBC Radio Leeds presenter James Deighton, often referred to as the ‘voice of Rugby League’ will present the evening, and Giants members of staff will be on hand to inform supporters about the club’s continued commitment to Youth Development and ways in which fans can help contribute to the ongoing investment to provide elite Super League stars of the future.

The Giants Youth Development programme has been commended for its achievements in identifying and providing an excellent pathway for aspiring Super League players and crucially in 2010 the Giants are sending a youth team on a tour of Australia for the first time, which is expected to be a fantastic boost to the long term development of the club’s future stars.

Just been told we have an addition to the Fans Forum tomorrow - Nathan Brown will be there for the Q&A and to chat to fans too.

Any news from anyone on this? Very interested to know how it went!

Ian Smith was very good. He gave explanations about lots of aspects of refereeing. It was worth going to listen to him alone.

Very much agree with this - the insights from him about both his training schedule and how he got into refereeing was very interesting. Honest enough to tell us about the worst decision he'd ever made too!

Thank you. Any news on the supporters group/association? How many were there? Any talk of the treatment of Brett at the Warrington game?

Supporters Trust sounds to be in safe hands and is coming on well - some events organised but I'm sure they will announce it themselves later.

There were about 40 people there in all - pretty poor turnout but it was a very good environment with very good questions which were well answered. James? Deighton did a very good job comparing it.

No mention of Brett and Warrington. Brett is unaffected by it and NB is confident in his abilities and focus.
