and i bet next year there will still be one or two tipping us to finish outside the 8

Maybe we should email their subs and tell them how little they know on the matter...

I saw those at the start of the season and was frankly insulted by them, they were clearly drawn up by people who thought our last season was a mark of our ability...there was a reason Sharp was sacked...


anyway, lets see how many eat humble pie and lets see what they say about us for next season.

All in all I think we have done better than I expected, much better and I hope we can keep ourselves going as long as possible into the playoffs.

4th is beyond what I expected for us this season! I was, however, highly optimistic we'd surpass the journo's expectations.

And that was when they thought we were going to have the wonderkid Todd carney. I am sure they would have downgraded us more when they found out he was not coming

I agree I expected top 8 and possibly top 6, but fourth or third is just fantastic and something to really be proud of.

Based on last season I would have taken top 8 as fabulous. i admire your optimism............or bad memory
