I don't think there was any bias at all - which is what I'd expect. Sunday papers, even the red tops, don't hand over editorial control to sponsors.

Only the main story and big picture being about Matt king and an after thought with our own Nathan Brown! No not much bias!! Thankfully some of it is made up on the back page with a radio five recollection of the 2006 Final!

The People was dreadful. Mainly focussed on Wire.

Offiah's love for Briers was sickly. The radio 5 guy was meant to write about us and said he wanted Wolves and Smith to win.

The shock of the weekend was Smith in the Daily Mail. There were references to him at the Giants yet NO mention of him paying his own air fare..blah..blah..blah. Maybe the press have got sick of him going on about it.

A 16 page supplement on Wednesday followed by an 8 page one on monday. I wonder if I'll be able to obtain an Examiner at 6am on saturday as I know John Menzies don't deliver my local shop newspapers till well after 7 on a sat!!

The front page gives equal treatment to both sides. The King story has a very big picture of King and a smaller one of Wire fans, but the copy is 55% King and 45% Nathan Brown. Offiah's piece is even handed - he even says his head takes Giants to win. The only picture on the back page is of Giants, which goes a long way to evening up the King pic. Really, you can't expect any editorial budget ( as they are known in the trade ) to be absolutely word-for-word pic-for-pic equal. You don't seriously think that these very minor differences were caused by Vestas's sponsorship? If you do, I advise a 'conspiracy theory' test.
