| First up, congratulations on the outstanding team effort from your lads yesterday, best defensive effort I've seen in a long time.
It seems almost wrong to single out any one player, but I have been a big critic of Kevin Brown in the past, and thought he was overrated. Haven't seen much of Hudds this season and I was surprised by how good he was yesterday. Should have been MOM in my opinion. Always looked like making things happen in attack (including making two crucial tries) and largely kept the shackles on Eastmond in defence. Is he performing to that sort of level pretty consistently these days? Great effort.

| Pretty much, yes.
Its funny, but players like Brown and Robinson who have perhaps laboured under prevous coaches, and from the form they showed as kids first hitting the first team at Wigan (when they were hailed as the new messiahs of RL) are still painted as average players, or even poor players
In the past couple of months Brown and Robbo have been utterly outstanding for us and are often at the heart of our attack and defence
No doubt I will be mocked for this, but England could do worse than look to Robbo as scrum half given his current form.

| Lets not forget that Brown should have been in the centres this year with Carney at 6.

| Absolutely, and he is a very good centre.
I think the arrival of Fulton has helped free him a bit from the stand off role and in turn helped him find his best skill levels

That's true. I wouldn't have picked Brown as a suitable replacement for Carney, and may even have opined to that effect on this very forum. The sound you are now hearing is that of me eating my words.....
Mmmmmmm..... words.

| I think Brown was absolutely fantastic. He was my man of the match. I don't think Saints quite expected him to be so instrumental with our attack. They expected our forwards to try and dominate, they knew Robinson and Hodgson would need to be watched, but Brown caught them unaware. Superb half back play.

| Actually Matt, I think that can be said of a couple of players, Moore they kept an eye on a lot too, but left Lunt to have some freedom as well
I think there are still teams out there not expecing us to have quality across the pitch.

Thought he looked the bizz to be honest. Directed operations very well.
Hugely impressed with hudds yesterday. You looked like one of the big boys awesome defence and tremendous set moves and clinical finishing at the other end.
Salary cap is working.

| Brown has took some stick on here but he is a cracking player and has seen with a few of our lesser rated players Nathan Brown has coached them into very good team players
