By the time we play them it may be a case of winner gets second. Unless we get to CC final then they will go hell for leather to win the league.

To come from being beaten by Highfield to really challenging the for the major trophies is absolutely amazing.

I remember wembley in 1991 when we were in the hotel having brekkers in our Fartown shirts and everyone in the hotel said we were stuck in a timewarp, as there were 12 of us in our claret and gold shirts. I sat there with Anthony Edwards at the brakfast table, whilst wearing his old shirt and never dreaming of this and look at us now.! we are on the brink of greatness, I am so happy now, thankyou, I feel ace tonight.....................

We'll be lucky to achieve anything like what we thought we would two weeks ago. It's amazing what a leveller an injury or seven can be. IMO the Challenge Cup is Huddersfield's to lose. Sounds daft with a semi against Saints to come but we are in bits. All the injuries are key players in key positions and even the backup in those positions is injured. If the Giants don't choke like they have in previous key cup games they have an amazing chance of winning it.

With Leeds and Saints still to play each other and the way the scousers injury list is going. I'll be supporting Leeds in that game and hoping Saints lose a few more games. It's quite possible we could finish above them

Teams like Wigan,Castleford,Warrington,Hull etc were teams we only saw on scrumdown and we could only dream of playing in a massive cup game - now they are chasing us .its great absolutely great

Shame the frankly amazing efforts of the Huddersfield Chairman/board are not being matched by the town as a whole.

The way the Giants are playing and with the utterly superb facilities you have there, you should be getting 10,000+ crowds for every single home game.

I know you've made a lot of progress, but given the amazing progress of the club and the generosity with regards to ticket pricing, you should be doing even better. Maybe a Wembley victory is the key? Do people think the crowds would swell were that to happen?

If i remember correctly there was only 8k at Saints on Friday. That to me is far worse for a team with the amount of success they've had over the last decade. Give us the same amount of success and i think we'd be nearer the 15k mark.

The length of time Huddersfield languished in the doldrums cannot be underestimated, and the damage done by being flogged year after year still leaves even some posters on this site thinking Hudds are easy beats, how will "casuals" think any differently?

A final appearance and especially winning one will go a long way to telling people that Huddersfield are a force again.

Failing that another season where we reach into the top 4, will drip into peoples heads we are at the top.

in 10 years we have more than doubled our home gates - probably closer to tripling them - on the back of 1 cup final and 1 play-off appearance.
compare that to say, Saints who by that sum should be averaging over 50,000 but they arent and never will.
i think our crowds are very acceptable considering what this club has achieved over the last 30 - 40 years and should rightly be applauded.
