Only bad mark against you is that your as bad as Wigan when it comes to niggling,lying on in tackles.Cheap shot by Raleigh in the first half on his very late hit on Rob Burrows(schoolyard bully).
Other than that Nathan Brown moved you onto the next level,a deffinant play off spot.

Good turnout by Giants fans today,by far the biggest away following that Giants have brought to LEEDS.

Proud of our boys today, we didn't deserve to lose. Once we went 12-0 in front the ref had to take matters into his own hands to get the Rhinos back into the game. I don't mind being penalized for holding down or forward passes but when the other team gets away with it, it does get on your t!ts a bit. Someone needs to tell Lee Smith what onside is too.

Alibert is the biggest sucker for home town reffing. If he did every Hull KR home game we'd not know what Morgan's voice sounded like.

Ultimately we can't complain at the result. Second half we got no favours from the ref but we dropped too much ball, as did Leeds first half. Had we won then they'd have had no complaints, but they didn't and thus neither can we.

Would have been entertaining for the neutral I think. I can't be sure though, as I wanted us to win!

Hey Ponner dont point to the ref being homer the guy was a joke all the lying on in the tackles and the 2nd man flopping in on the tackle.Your boys give us the win tipified by Hodgson bottle it in the first half when he intercepted a wild ball and nobody in front of him he seemed to slow down then look over shoulder waiting to be tackled.
Then the sloppy pass for Kallum Watkins to intercept and score.Not dissing your boys they were a credit to you but as the song goes THATS WHY WE'RE THE CHAMPIONS,we can play badly and still dig out a win.

There was 2 mins or so left so something special had to be tried, as it happens it came off for Leeds. It's just a shame that French twerp hasn't got the balls to give anything against the Southstanders but as soon as they shout for something he jumps into action. Anyway we'll beat you at Wembley in August when it matters.....oops sorry

It was a shame because had we done one or two things differently we would have won. But we didn't, and we didn't. And Leeds could say the same had they lost. Which they didn't.

At least we werent thumped like last time, and hopefuly we wont have taken a battering to our confidence, we have about 6 or 7 matches coming up, all of which are eminantly winnable

We could easily have won this game. Nathan Brown needs to find a couple of wingers from somewhere because one can't catch (Aspinwall dropped two easy passes when all he had to do was catch to score not for the first time this season.) and the other can't catch or run.
Brett Hodgson also needs to sort out his passing as he must have thrown three or four to ground yesterday. Why does he insist in passing in his own twenty metre line.

I thought the forwards were excellent and Sculthorpe looked ok and Fulton was good especially in defence.

What is worrying is David Hodgson and Lunt both had clear runs to the line and were not quick enough yet when they got the intercept at the end they scored easily. Lack of pace is a big worry.

I don't know what's going on with Hodgson, I really don't. He's clearly lost some pace from before his injury but even so, he doesn't back himself.

I hear there is one going gr4eat guns at Batley. Mc something. I forget his name.

Brown in the reserves is going great guns by all accounts too.

You can't factor in for some of the ball we dropped yesterday though. Are they trying too hard? Are the thinking about hitting the ball up before it's in their hands? I'm struggling to think of a decent explanation for some of the ridiculous ball we drop.

Mcgillivary has scored a few tries. However i heard Karl Harrison saying his defence still needs a lot of work and reading the Batley match report from the weeknd it seems like he messed up a couple of times. So maybe he is not quite ready yet.

He is positionally naive in defence and there is only one way to get that sorted. Match practise, which is probably why he's out on loan!

How do you explain the ridiculous penatly he gave you in the first 10 minutes right in front of the Southstand? the one where Senior after been tackled, gets up to play the ball and is then gang tackled further towards touch, without any shouting from the ref and a penatly awarded to Leeds. Therefore he threw the ball back inside, only to be penalised for passing after the tackle made.

That was a strange decision. I actually thought he might have got you for decent as Burrow semeed to be giving him a mouthful.
