| here's my take on yesterday....
Best team won , Wigan were, only just, a bit better than us and managed to handle the pressure better and had the better luck.
Our performance was 90% better than last week although there was still one or 2 negatives for me.
I'm not blaming the Ref, although i was Adamant Raleigh had scored, he hit the ground but i dont think the movement was stopped as it all happened in one movement.
As for the 2 Wigan sin-bins they came after the captain had been told and warnings given so their fans cant really complain about them going after they continued to commit the same offences.
Another point for me was our fans lack of willingness to get behind the team!, when we were 30-26 down i think , we forced a goal line dropout and i was expecting the crowd to be stood up clapping, shouting encouragement to the team etc but no one bothered at all and people just sat there waiting for the game to restart - i'm sure the team would have loved to have heard the crowd trying to lift them for the final push but alas ...!!
So to sum up it was a vast improvement in attack, defence again looked dodgy, best team won, Ref not to blame and in the end i think it was just bad luck that was the difference between the sides !

What you find Daz, is if you open your mouth and show some passion you get told to be quiet. Hilarious.

| People standing up in front of me annoys me, but i wont tell people to shut up...thats just a bit barmy (well, unless they are being offensive).
Mind I will tell someone to shut up if they are slagging a player off.
As for not getting behind the team, its not surprising given recent results that people expect the inevitable.

Then Silverwood would have been even more of a joke than he actually was.

A good summary. An even game and sometimes the ball does not bounce your way.

I'll bet Mason is wondering that too...

Mind you one Wigan fan was saying Mason did not run the ball in all game. It must be someone different i watched yesterday taking drive after drive although the highlights suggest otherwise.
'"
I thought Mason had a very brave game on Sunday. Our players were hunting him all game(especially McIlorum) and he just kept driving the ball in, taking the hits and coming back for more.
As for the game overall I thought we just about edged it. To consider we only had 12 men for a quater of the game showed how well we did really. It could have gone either way but our defence just about managed to keep our noses infront.

That's how he's been playing for the last two seasons now. He is probably our most consistent player.

sack that, what ever happened to sin binning BOTH teams for persistence after the captain was spoken too. I dont mind our binnings as they were right but a couple of your guys should have gone for the same offences.
Ref hammered us and gave you all your field position except the 40/20 that went out on the full.
Ask for Mason, he may have run it in all game but he was hammered all game just like Gilmour who tried the bit hit

| If you got two more penalties how did the ref hammer you? Because he got sick of O'Loughlin going for the head? The Coley binning was a professional foul and the ref had zero option. Following a break we apparently didn't make because we got all our yards via the penalties the ref handed us, despite us getting fewer than you.
You got two more penalties yet we scored 6 tries apiece but somehow we only made any yards when we got penalties. Kind of stands to reason then, seeing as you got two more penalties but no more tries, that your lot weren't much crack either then eh.
All this we're Wigan, we're the greatest, everyone hates us but we won despite them piffle is a bit lame. Go away, think of a decent argument that doesn't have more holes than a colander and then try again. Jeez, is winning the game and no one here complaining about the result not enough for you people? Talk about chips on the shoulder...
