robbo is always targeted like you say but they often come up short as hes very good for his size at tackling..much better than drew and grix who have been targeted in the past.

Murphys metres are impressive, i dont remember him being put free like Jerry or Ferres but averaged over 13m per carry!!

Murphy ran the ball back from the kick a few times and made good metres then.
Don't forget 90 of ferres metres came after the hooter! He really has had a great start to his first full season with us.

He didn't make many tackles. He saved a try with a deliberate knock on and diffused a couple of kicks but he didn't actually have to make many tackles

No cause the centres dealt with the threat before it got out wide!

Chan's figures are amazing, a real tackling machine and great yards

Thought Murphy was our best back on Saturday, i was 100% confident in everything he did and IMO deserves to keep his place, but maybe he was drafted in by Baloo for this game as he has something over George for that type of game, for Wakey Luke might be preferred for something he does better but its great to have these options !...

Chan gets better every game for me he's a machine !!

Chan was my MoM last Saturday.

I was undecided about Chan on Saturday. He ran the ball in loads of times but didn't seem to cause them any problems.

He runs sio hard with the ball that he often draws two defenders creating space for his centre and winger. Is playing like Manu did at Hull.

Mine too. Can't for the life of me think why Grix got MOM, even got 3 pts in LE Goldthorpe thingy. I sometimes wonder if I'm watching a different game. he was good but there was another 3-4 I put ahead. Cudjoe better than last week, still needs a bit more confidence though, felt sure he could have gone over in the second half rather than try and pass to the wing. That was a cracking centres pass he did mind, for Jerrys try, fast hands or what. Top defence from Murphy, stopped at least 2 if not three trys by shooting out the line.

Watch Sky highlights, we had 68% completion as opposed to Wigans 83%!!!! Just shows how good the defence was.

completion rate awful...put us under way too much pressure, wont get away with it all the time.

I think the reason grix got MOM was because he made sure we were still in the game at half time with a couple of great one on one tackles and some good plays. I agree he wasn't the best player over the course- (that was leroy for me- and I think he made the right decision in passing as he could see hed drawn the defence and wrong footed them by passing he also knew that jerry could then pass back inside if needed) but grix stopped the game from getting away from us and kept us in the hunt for the second half. If wigan had scored again we would have lost that game.

Grix was involved a fair bit when we had the ball and defended pretty well, fielded at least 3 kicks in goal and got out plus batted/kicked another 3/4 dead. He played very well.

Like others I would not have made him MOM but I can see why he got it. He was one of 6 or 7 genuine candidates imo.

My MOM was Jerry.

So clearly he saw something too.

Also as an addition- all have been waxing lyrical about how great our defence was against wigan- that was down to all the players doing their bit- but it's grix that organises that defence.

Never get too wound up about MOM to be honest and the fact it could have been anyone of 5 or 6 players is great and if that is the case every week it will be no bad thing.

certainly better at organising the defence than eden was...players more confident with grix behind them
