brough was poor today... we were trying too hard and just gave the ball away too much

foran ran the game for salford and gaskell showed exactly why we should of signed him up!!!!

aspinall poor debut . high tackle, missed tackles and knock on in his stint, cant be too hard on him though as its his first game.

good giants following, shambles at salford they need to sort things out regarding pay on the gate

i understand fans frustrations of not going for the drop goal and getting a point. but we had 2 men over on the right when robbo put the kick in, had that fallen right we would have won the game.
in hindsight yes he should have taken the one point and we would have got a draw but on the other hand he saw an opportunity to try and win the game which if it had come off we would all be praising him.

I take your point meast, but Robinson spurned the opportunity at a free shot at a drop goal (infront of the posts with no pressure from the defence) to tie the game in favour of a low percentage play which had given us no joy throughout the game. The odds of success were stacked far higher for the drop goal than the cross field kick and I'd have thought that a player of his experience should not be making those mistakes.

This is almost indicative of our problem. A few seasons ago we were accused in League Weekly of having too many chiefs and not enough Indians - how (no pun intended) we could have done with some more direction and composure in attack yesterday.
