I'd not drop Brad out of the team, he has been absolutely superb these last few weeks, as has Brough, and it's looking like Broughy's coming good now, I would have Lolesi for David H, he's got more pace than him! (Actually, Earl has more pace

I'm not sure how this discussion got around to dropping one of SL leading try scorers this year but i dont like it.

speed he may not have but the experience to be in the right place at the right time is the reason for him not to be taken out of the team

David Hodgson is consistently good
He's never poor and never amazing
I personally wouldn't swap him for anybody in our squad, you can't score 23 tries in a season by being a poor winger.

i can not believe how people put players down in these forums when they are performing so well.

some people need to take a season view as a whole and not respond to one good or one bad performance

the start of this thread was to say how happy i was with the current teams progress not ti dish the current players

It's just a shame that Yetton was the one who started putting players down by saying Lawrence should be dropped and in so doing he, inadvertently (I presume), derailed the thread slightly.

people talk alot about broughs kicking game but for me the best thing ive seen so far is his defence...awesome in defence.. him and lawrence on the same side of the field really makes it hard for teams to score. shame we have d hodgson on the wing

yep... d hodgson is shocking in defence, never backs himself when theres a gap, lost his pace, poor under the bomb.

He does however play to his limitations and prevents the likeleyhood of beaten pushed into touch by coming inside. He also runs the ball out very strongly indefence and could teach a lot of wingers how to finish. Hall of Leeds being a prime example who ought to have lots more tries.

and he also happens to be one of the best FINISHERS in super league, i think i've mentioned that before though
