| Nathan Brown is talking like a man who cares about the progression of the game in this country, which infers he may well be seeing out his contract.

| Nathan Brown is looking after himself and his family's interests as best he can and part of that is doing his job to the best of his ability whilst he's here. At some point he will leave. It may be this year or at the end of next year. Either way the club has progressed while he has been here and with Baloo signing a 2 year extension he now seems to be the next in line to take over and continue the progression when the time comes.
Winning a trophy wont be the single decisive factor in him staying or going. The right opportunity at the right club in the NRL will be the decisive factor in him leaving before his contract ends, otherwise it will be him simply fulfilling his contractual obligations. Nathan leaving us will be a sad day when it comes because he has been a forthright, honest and extremely talented coach who has developed the club from top to bottom in the areas he's responsible for. Some people may not like how he apparently puts himself across but these people need to remember that they're reading snippets of the full tale on webpages and that if they get the chance to hear full interviews then they may well see that the printed words are frequently misleading and sensationalised.
Maybe it would be better if such people went to the proper lengths to find out exactly what was said before passing comment or judgement on it and then took the time to convey that opinion in a coherant, legible fashion such that it doesn't attract the derision it otherwise arguably deserves.

| Quote ="MUTLEY CAT"hiding behind what authority? you really are bitter
why don't you go and play on danrils board if you want to insult people . this board is not exclusive to Huddersfield fans its part of RLFans which incorporates the whole rugby family and if you can not deal with that then tough read the AUP and take what action you deem to be necessary (Amin ect) . ATEOTD i don't give a damn . every time any fan criticizes your club they immediately become a troll on this board . If you took the time to answer the questions instead of picking faults with ones grammer then maybe just maybe the real trolling would cease. yep my spellings crap and my grammer is poor on the other hand im a trained chemist and a pretty neat mathematician . i apologize to durham g , gahan and code 13 for the derailment on this topic .
back on topic'"

| Lest we not forget that Smith from Hull and now Potter are both looking for NRL jobs. Brown has a contract for another season so will only if the role offered takes his fancy not out of desperation. He doesn't need to rush and silverware on the CV will only aid his future aspirations.
One thing is for certain and that is Brown is enjoying some limelight over here, getting his name in the national press and provoking publicity for the club and the game. He is used to being centre of attention as an NRL coach with strong views and a non nonsense approach - remember he was the one who slapped Trent Barrett.

| I wouldn't be surprised if Brown does end up in the NRL in some way, shape or form next season, but does that make what he's said any less right? If Tony Smith and Cummins have made those statements then they're out of order IMO.
