This latest critisism won't go down well with the powers that be, but it needs saying. Is somebody going to have to get really hurt before they clamp down on high/late cheap shots, forget about last Sundays incident, he's only saying what most supporters complain about all the time, it's continually seen at games but nothing get's done about it, the refs cop out by putting it on report, (if they "see" anything at all) and the disciplinary panel are just weak kneed wimps and think they're doing a fine job giving out a warning letter about technique/committed to assault etc etc or a fine and give em a slap on the wrist.

Looks like Brownies going back to Oz with a bang whilst the powers that be will probably censure him this time for telling a few home truths but just carry on regardless.

i suppose Mr Brown took maters into his own hands and suspended his own players with no pay to back up his interview

would of had more of an impact last year after one of his own players had got away with it , now it just sounds like sour grapes .

Mason and Moore were suspended for two games last season because of missing training.

alot of the comments made by brown are spot on about redhall being weak, its a shame its come on the back of nothing tackle from o loughlin. if evidence of dangerous tackles, spears, chicken wings, deliberate high shots had been compliled where there was a geniuine risk of injury to a player then im sure it would have come across alot better. his original comments after last weekend really made him look a fool that had spat his dummy out and he is now trying to repair that damage by being vocal over the general issue rather an isolated incident. we all know this issue is there and all clubs are guilty of foul play and cheap shots. if these comments had been made without the previous circus of the O loughlin hit it would have come across as a more compelling statment and may have got the support of other clubs and jolted the rfl into reviewing the discipinary panel and the quality of referees and whether one referee is actually enough.

Maybe they still want to coach in this country, unlike Brown.
Not saying he's wrong but its a little like throwing a hand grenade as you run to the hills.

You ask any Aussie coach in SL if they'd rather coach here or at home in the best comp in the world and see what they say.
