He's won more grand finals than any of our lot. He's seemed very controlled for Wire this year and very professional.
I'd be happy for just about anyone as long as they put the effort in.

He has been lucky to play in an outstanding Leeds team for so long. He was ok in his day but is way past his best now and offers nothing.

That's not what I and presumably Daz was getting at. History and the ability of players is good to look at. Videos of what they are capable of are fun..
But when a player joins a new club it's a fresh start and a clean slate.
Look at Willie Mason and Todd Carney coming to England. Massive names who probably disappointed a few expectations.
For us... Faiumu didn't come with the best stats. He was pretty unknown.
He was one of our best players throughout his Huddersfield career. He loved our club and played his heart out. This new lad could do the same.

Again unless you are part of the board at the Giants how do you know what the club can and cant afford.

Ok mate instead of taking on board information that you might find interesting dismiss everything, walkers agent has 12 other players at giants and wants a big deal for him, we can't afford as not enough cap space, believe it or don't believe me, makes no odds to me

But i don't find it interesting as it it has no substance to it. I am sure Walkers agent is looking for a good deal for his player. However although i admit he is decent he is hardly one of the big names in the game so is hardly likely to attract a big offer from anyone.
As for saying we cant afford him maybe their are salary cap implications but these can be resolved by moving out players. What i am sure if we did sign him he would hardly be one of the biggest earners at the club as we have international players who will be on far more so to suggest we cant afford him is not true even if that involved moving someone out first.

When's last time you saw the list of who earns what? You say what I saw has no truth, ok mate you crack on, I know quite a bit but whenever you share on here it's dismissed, I'm done with it, figure it out for yourselves

grix and connor leaving is abit of space, the rest got taken up by brierley/ikahihifo/symonds during this season.

bradford 3 coming will take a chunk left as will any left for mamo.. some others may leave too yet like wood and even crabtree may retire

It is sometimes a case of wheeling and dealing. If Stone wants to bring his own players in he may well have to release others.

I have never seen a list of who earns what at the Giants but then again neither has anyone else who posts on here.

I am just hoping the club have something a bit better that the so called Bradford three lined up, We don't know how good this Mamo guy is, but we have a pretty good idea how good they are.

From what im hearing from my usual source a few things have gone tits up now and people are going to be very very very disappointed with the recruitment coming in.

I sincerely hope there is something in the pipelines. Adding just the Bradford 3 to our current squad id say we will still be a middle 8s team next year.

We have a good enough first team to get the top 8, and that's without the new players. Add them and we have a good enough squad.
All we need is Rick Stone to take us there and have a successful pre season with the lads.

We could sign half the bloody touring sides and people on here would whinge
