At the moment we don't have a "full"strengh team, yesterdays performance was shocking, it looks like our coach has his mind elsewhere, we don't appear to have a leader off or on the field, there's no game plan our defence is a joke, nobody seems to know who's playing where and our confidence looks shot to bits and we're going downhill fast. If yesterdays performance is anything to go by it's going to be a cricket score. Not looking forward to the game but I'll travel to Salford in the hope that we can somehow pull a performance out of the bag and give you a decent game.

We need size up front and that is the biggest pack & interchange we can put out. Not ideal to have Doof as a prop but with Walker & Tonks on the way out there is no option. Also not ideal starting Larne as he is a better impact prop, but we need to play a "full prop" with Doof so I have paired him with Mason on the interchange.

O'Donnel at loose, to stiffen things up defensively and prevent all attacks down our left resulting in either an intercept try or the ball passed into row G of the stand about 5 yards ahead og the winger!!

If it could be arranged I would approach Widnes swap Kev Brown for Mullally now, even on "loan" with both players seeing out existing contracts.

All that said, I think we will see Kev Brown at loose and a defeat by at least 30. I will be there hoping to be proved wrong.

I would not play Eden his positional sense is shocking i watched him purposely yesterday and he was dreadfull get Grix there next week Billy Slater more like Kat slater.

I hear what you are saying although to be fair Eden isn't that bad positionally, the only problem I have with playing Grix at fullback is its another reshuffle we could well do without.

Brown has Grix as a 7, I'm far from convinced but too late to be swapping now, Murphy played fullback at Bradford and had a great game and has done well in all his other outings but we are limited for backs at the moment.

That's why I would go with the team I picked, big mobile nasty pack(if brown allows it) and Broughy pulling the strings.

IMO at the start of this season we should have moved Brown back to centre which IMO is still his best and natural position.

Anyway we can only speculate and just pray for a Giants team who turn up and want to do well. Back to basics and Aggression is the key for me. We beat em at Millenium Magic when they were dropping like flies and didn't want to know, time to muscle up!!

Eden is THAT bad positionally... but guess it will come with more experience. exposed at hull fc and cas most recently

to be fair to eden most of the team were bad positionally at cas and the winning try at hull just about everybody was stood in the middle of the pitch, personally dont think eden is a major concern for me, more like brown,chan, whoever is centre and george on defence, cos can be certain thats were wire will target their attack .
