I am currently in communication with the the stadium over this - I have been sent a set of regulations which I am told the stewards currently adhere to. It does state no poles. I am seeking clarification.

Nah...only if they are wooden. Just use a plastic one or indeed a plastic drinks bottle!

I was stopped at half time at the Wigan game and told that I couldn't wave my flag. I walked out as Wigan scored just after the second half started and two Wigan fans waved theirs in the away end. I decided to boycott home games for the rest of the season but if it's only wooden poles then OK. I was told it was too big though. I have had it 7 years without any trouble.

The ones we bought for Wembley, I had bother from a steward when I taped it to a clear, white area on the Brittania Rescue stand wall the following week. What a difference from the Wembley stewards, who helped me tie the very large one up above the disabled area under the TV screens.

I'll give a plastic pole a chance. Although Greyman jumped on my last one and shattered it when we beat Bradford last year.



Also heard that they have taken Tansey's drum off him. I think it's the one that Big G has now. Only myself. Giant Daz or Meast should be allowed to bang that. Not heard anyone else who has a clue how to play it. And only at certain times. The Wire lads are good and they only looked like young un's last Sunday.
