I might know you then! I grew up with Gilly, we lived next door to each other in Marsh. He's 2 years older than me and talked me into going to Royds Hall. He became my bodyguard, and suffice to say, I was never bullied at school! 3 guys who were 2 years older than Gilly were bullying my mate so I told Gilly, he laid all 3 of them out at the same time and they never bullied anybody again! Top bloke as already been said.

A player I always remember fondly is Greg Pearce for that kick from the touchline against Featherstone. Never saw it, couldnt watch so had my head in my hands but knew he kicked it when the crowd went wild.

After that Adrian Toole - giant of a man with hands like shovels. Always remember playing away at Dewsbury, it was freezing and all but our game had been called off. He played and tore his knees to ribbons on the hard ground!
