Tom Spencer is young and a machine. Built like a fully grown silver back.

A good player and never lacked effort but if we have SL aspirations he wasn't a player I saw us taking up with us. Weston, Moimoi, Hopkins and Acton are all well ahead of him currently.

Good luck to Tom, he's had some great performances in a Leigh shirt and I am sure he will become a favourite down in London too.

Another player who's been absolutely brilliant for us, I remember his first year when he was only on loan and won our Fans' Player of the Year!!

I did see him as part of our team squad and maybe he is behind, at the moment, Weston, Hopkins, Hock, Acton and Moimoi but doesn't mean he will stay behind.

I missed him not leading the warm ups, even over the intermittent LSV PA you could always hear him shouting "take it back"

I really like Spenner as a player, big, strong & solid & I think underrated.

Maybe he could break more tackles & therefore carry more yardage but I think that is because he doesn't quite get to max speed quick enough.

A very good player if given enough game time & confidence.

Best of luck Tom, another player I'm sorry to see go. He was incredible when he first started playing for us but for one reason or another since the team went full time he seems to have slipped down the pecking order without really doing anything wrong himself.
