Which one of the South Yorkshire rivals do you want in the NRC final Doncaster or Sheffield ?

Remembering the rivalry we built up with Sheffield in the Jason Donohue era and the amount of cracking games we had v Sheffield I'll go for them as I think it would be a good game of RL on the day.

Either way just hope Paul Rowley and some of his team are watching tomorrow to see how the opposition set up in big games and give us a bit of a edge.

I'd like to see Doncaster make it, not because I think they would be the easier side to play, but simply because I admire how they are still going after all the financial troubles that they have had. A final would be a great boost to them I am sure.

Whichever makes the final we will be the best supported team by far.

Sheffield have one heck of a tough game the week before the final, should they be lucky enough to get there. They play at London Broncos, in the Challenge Cup - although that's on the Friday evening, so they would have a couple more days to recover, than we would.

They're at home to London. I'd fancy them to win that so they'd be bouncing going in to the final.

Would be a terrific game against Sheffield but, with no disrespect intended, I'd fancy our chances a little more against Doncaster.

True Matt, but 80 minutes against a SL team still takes it out of a Championship side - ask Fev, from last season.

I think like Charlie said right at the begining of this season. We should be coming good at the later end of the season like Sheffield have done. Well we are coming good just at the right time. Last night made me sit up and look at that team as one that is really on the up. Lads who don't make the extra yard made ten extra. Don't know what the team talk was but by heck it worked.

The thing with London they have lost a few players who are important like Gower and have alot of injuries too.

True, I suppose he might have gleamed a bit from the reactions of players when hit / going off or any off moves signalled from the bench etc (in fairness we've played Eagles quite a 'few' times of late so they probably know us very well and us them

It is quite common for football managers to attend opposition games, but I'd say it's a little easier to assess a RL video than it is a football one, given the majority of players will be within camera shot by the sheer nature of RL.
