How long for the first grade Fred?

Not this season, it takes too long and too little sales last season and due to putting them on here I fear, I sell the cheapest Rugby DVD's in Rugby league yet people still wont buy them, and putting highlights on here is unfair to the couple of 'regulars' I have left.

Please if anyone comes after 5 mins before the start of any half you wont be able to get a DVD as things get a bit busy just before kick offs as I have to start computers, dvd recorders and cameras etc..

I`ll have one fred but i`m back in work tuesday..... so it depends on when you`re back from the chateau metallique.......

All I can say that you are easily pleased. At 8-0 up my son was prepared to walk out it was such a poor game. I encouraged him to stay just in case Leigh scored and it might, just might get more exciting--it wouldnt have taken much. I had prepared in my mind a dreadful match report even if we had won.
I am sure you are delighted you won--you just about deserved it but it was the biggest load of dross I have seen in years and would rather pay money to see my son play at U15 level than sub standard Championship rugby.

You both would have gone early if that idiot in the middle and his two accomplices had not tried to hand you the match on a plate. Because if a fair ref had been in charge we would have trounced you.

Defences on both sides were good. The ref was a ludicrously bad joke as far as we Leythers are concerned and you should watch the DVD of the game if you think I am making that up.

Had you had to endure that inept supposedly impartial officialdom and then won in the last minute you and your lad would have reacted the same way as our fans did.

We endure this ridiculously bad refereeing practically every game, and its not just refs, the touch judges are getting in on this farce, which is supposed to be impartial and if the RFL don,t put a stop to it soon I intend to send DVD,S to the Sunday papers.

the RFL 2nd in command of refs gets a copy of ALL championship games.

Defences on both sides looked good due to the attacking skills of both sides being incredibly poor--little idea, no angles being ran etc.
The penalty count was about even but in the 1st half you were hammered by the ref and that is either a fault of Laughton or the players. Both teams on display have a poor record of giving away penalties so I would veer towards the players.

If we had been behind nearly all the game and won, I would certainly have reacted the way you did but that doesnt take away from the appalling 'entertainment' on offer. Sheffield/ Doncaster and Batley/Gateshead shown on Sky were much better. We lost at Halifax in the cup--deseverdly so--but it was an good game of RL which could have gone either way and I felt as though I got my money's worth--whereas after Friday I feel all speccies should get a refund.

Sorry to continue rambling on off topic, but the penalty count was about 15 or 16 9 in favour of Widnes. I would hardly call that equal! Although, compared to the 12 3 penalty count and the 18 6 one that Leigh were on the wrong end of at Doncaster and Feathersone respectively, I suppose that is not bad going for Leigh. Everything is relative. It still continues the trend however, of Leigh losing virtually every penalty count. Bizarre! When I watch you, it is clear that you have some extremely disciplined players eg. Stuart Donlan, Ian Mort, Sam Reay, Nick Stanton, to name but a few. In fact as I have stated before, the vast majority of them seem no different to other players in the league. The penalty counts really are strange.

I like the look of F/B Dean Dollin he looks like he could be a class act

and some other good young lads in the team



I hope some of them are tied dwn to contracts before SDL clubs come sniffing round '

Personaly I think the reserves play more entertaining rugby than the 1st team and have done for a few years

I wsh they'd get Mark Bailey and Ingy back they got them playing top notch rugby
