If there are any coaches out there (of any sport) who is looking for a basic sports motion analysis software then I recommend they have a look at a free programme called LONGOMATCH. its a bit 'clunky' to use and takes a bit of s learning curve and is basic but can do a job for those looking to edit down their teams videos into 'tags' its for XP, Vista, and Linux, well worth a look.

no they use 'sportsperformer' and Cen Lancs uni use 'Snapper' for them also

Just to add I would be quite willing to give any advice on how to set up to video a game for example type of camcorder, battery life, if or not to use a tripod etc..
a lot on here already have my tel number if not just pm me.
