But effing Rochdale Womens RL could have beaten us today we were utter cr4p. You can't go from a performance like the Widnes game to that performance today without something being wrong that we dont know about.

What I worry about is not todays performance but about the towns attitude to the club which represents this town. Pathetic crowd pathetic display our team and us fans know which will improve sooner rather than later and living where I live I know and every supporter must know what I mean.

Not directly i suppose, but as was posted by someone elsewhere, the league has just become a league of glorified friendlies, with very little to play for. At the end of the day, 'ticking a box' does not guarantee you a thing.

OFFTHECUFF - thats why i said apparently

WYSIWYG , We all feel let down today and I'm sure the players will feel as bad if not worse than us fans , as for the D/C players , well I agree , it was a mistake to play them today , I stated yesterday that if it was up to me , I'd have played them today , but not after today

The Dewsbury match should have been the easiest of the last 4 , but that is sport , I dont think we played particularily different to last week , we had some good possession early on [ in fact I'd guess we had the bulk of the possession and position today but failed to turn that into points partly due to some good defensive work by the Rams , and a lack of idea's from ourselves

If we had scored early on I truly believe we would have gone on to win the game , instead Dewsbury grew in confidence and on the back of that confidence they played some good inovative and exciting RL , they ' chanced their arm ' and it came off

Then as we chased the game we made more and more mistakes , something any team can do , that's what RL is like sometimes

It leaves us with a lot to do , but then again when was it ever any different at Leigh , we always do things the hard way , you should be used to that by now

Anyway i wish the salary cap was more, so ste o connor could spend on t best players.To be honest the cap evens things up for the batleys of this game.No offence but true.

I think that sums it up perfectly, Steve. There's nothing more confidence-boosting than withstanding such intense early pressure, without conceding. Equally, it has to be confidence-sapping to attack like that and come up with zilch to show for it.

We have say 'very well done' to Dewsbury and move on and look forward to the next game. I know it's hard to take, after the first half of the season, but I still say we have short memories - look where we were this time last season!

Does not even things up as Batley have a average attendance (last year) of less than a thousand, this means we have to sign players, pay wages working to that budget. We do not have money men in charge just people who work hard as a team for the club, our team has a few individuals that may go higher but again our success is not based round the money spent it is based round all the players working together as a team.

If we averaged 2 thousand a match we would certainly be up there with the top 2/3 teams.

It is sport , if you follow a club , any club in any sport , you have to accept it

Well when I arrived at the LSV just before kick off I asked who was on the bench. When I was told I said to him well are you sure there is no cover at prop? We underestimated the opposition. Ah well.

It wasn't a mistake to play the Dual's today however, Blythe apart, it will be in future! I thought Dominic Brambini was sensational today for Dewsbury we had no answer to him, we didn't even clatter him!

But don't most other sports, have something definite to play for. Maybe the championship clubs should forget SL altogether and make the Championship a comp in its own right. I have no idea how, but something needs to be done
