We have got to add more aggression and pace on Saturday! My suggestion of Hampshire at Hooker was based on his direct running and his enthusiasm, he always wants the ball which, is not a bad thing! Reynolds for instance is to quick to pass the ball on, its as though he is unaware he's supposed to be our play maker!
The fact Wane and Powell didn't keep Hampshire is irrelevant in fact, on his way to scoring his try in our thrashing of Wigan, I'm sure I saw him wave to Wane as he past the dugout

Wane didn't keep Scott Taylor too and I only saw him play that one game for us on loan at Fev when, he inspired our pack to victory following Parkers late withdrawal


As for Hampshire being 'dominated' I thought he had been out with a former Man U player

We presumably have to replace Mortimer and Reynolds on Saturday. I think it best not to make wholesale positional changes to cater for that. For me, it would be Hampshire to stand off - ironically the position he was clamouring for, when he was deemed 'out of favour' (

) and Hood or Pelissier at hooker. Let's keep it simple - they would be 'like for like' replacements.

Your right it is irrelevant it's what Jukesy wanted that matters, and he wanted Hampshire that much he phoned him up in Aus where he was on holiday and told him the half back position was his if he signed, haven't a clue what's going on as to why he can't get a game at all never mind in the backs, but the kid has got all the attributes your asking for maybe it's time for Jukesy to give him another chance.

I'm sure NJ's brought him in to do just that job. Unfortunatley forced changes due to injuries and spitting out of dummies,forced him to re-think and resovle the situation.That came at cost of playing players out of their primary positions or the position they wanted.

Now a true professional should be able to deal with that scenario and accept it. It's been quite obvious this season some can and some can't.

Could not agree more the club should be more important than a player's ego, I'm sure you and others on here will know more of what's going on than most of us, hopefully your luck will change for what's left of the season, because one things for sure you haven't had much up to now, and irrespective of the rumours regarding the coaching staff and the players the fans certainly deserve a lot better, and lets hope the players do it for you on Saturday.

I asked Hampshire if he had fallen out with the club, personally, as he walked across the Car Park with Ben Crookes on Sunday. He just sort of smiled although, I did say to him that thought he could have done better! he just said thanks!

Well we certainly have had a few who have just said thanks,these last few seasons. Lets hope we are left with the cream.
