What is the betting that Brierley's 'reaction' to the Club statement was written well before last night. He knew what was coming and had his reply lined up ready to send to his mouthpiece at Total RL. The same guy who has been the 1st to know about every leak and bit info to come out of the club in recent months.

Whole thing is a joke. If he wants to walk out when we are in the middle of a massive struggle to get fit players on the field then he should just go and we are right to suspend him.

The whole media circus around him has been going on for 2 years now non stop. I'm bored with it now. Just let him go, see if we can get any money for him if possible and then move on.

This current situation comedy that is leigh rlfc is of huge interest to fans of other clubs.
Your owner is considered an absolute tool by most other fans (and a growing number of your own) with his PR and ridiculous comment.
It attracts attention from fans of other clubs.
If you yourself are happy to comment on other clubs boards on their adversity, or fail to act when you see your own behaving that way, it's a bit rich to start protesting when it comes back at you.....
I suspect while ever Delbert keeps setting himself up for ridicule... comment will keep coming....

I too support the club no matter what, mate, but all this aggro has been going on long enough imo.

And I'd love nothing better than to be at the game on Sunday but sadly I am still not "match fit" lol. I will have to make-do with watching the game on LCTV. Which is a God-send btw.

What if that something he doesn't agree with is potentially damaging to your club? What if it's to do with doping, or breaches of rules? As a professional should he just accept it?
If you knew your workplace was breaking the law would you just turn a blind eye.

He has discussed it with the club- they have then put out a shockingly unprofessional statement making accusations - he should be entitled to defend himself.
As an outsider looking in I've seen Beaumont act as a classless prat with a big mouth and an unprofessional attitude- demonstrated numerous times.
I've only ever seen brierley act in a professional manner regarding the circus that's gone on around him. Now it could be that brierley has a modicum of intelligence and is just extremely cunning.
Or it could be that what I've seen is a true reflection.

Ultimatly he signed a fixed term contract, he should honour that contract, if there is a reason he cant, then either say why, or say nothing ,

Brierley (or his agent) are the ones orchestrating the media circus. It has been going on for far too long. Brierley handed his notice in on Monday night. It got leaked through the press and it clearly didn't come out through Leigh. Rowley left and about an hour later Total RL already had an 'exclusive' containing confidential details about Brierley's contract and it's clauses and stating he was about to walk.

Has a player outside the top flight ever had so much endless speculation about his every move? It isn't a coincidence. Him or his agent use the press to keep as much attention and hype about him as they possibly can. And it works, he is never out of the papers.
