Don't underestimate it - the best under 20's side in the country so there will be lads in there who will be playing Super League if not this season then certainly next year. Couple of first team candidates in Gelling and Dudson and I'm sure the likes of Tomkins Mk III etc will be knocking at the door as well.

That starting pack is very good for such a young side. Tom Spencer (who may be coming to Leigh on dual reg is an outstanding prospect.

Other ones to watch, Russell, Powell, O'Donnell, Hughes, Burke, Acton, Crow and Carberry. As a Wigan fan I'll be interested too see how Lloyd goes, he is the youngest player ever to get a full RL cap for Wales.

There's ten of their (admittedly) large first team squad in there. Plenty enough to keep our guys occu[size=150pied[/size!

I think there's only Dudson who's played a game of Super League in the Wigan squad.

Don't think many Wiganers will pay £12 to watch our U20's.

Matty Russell is still only young but from what I keep hearing he is going to take SL by storm 'tomkins style' in the next couple of years. If he's even half as good as everyone says he is we'll need to keep an eye on him on friday night.
