He's a game changer. I've lost count of how many times he (single handedly) has turned a certain defeat into victory. I'm so glad we've had all those years from him. It will be fitting for him to finish his career at Leigh and he will be as big an asset in his final two or three years as he has been in his last 12.

Done and dusted for a while now by all accounts. Fax didnt offer him a contract until the last minute/if at all. He will do very well for Leigh but I think KH wants a bit more structure which his replacement will certainly bring.

wouldnt expect much to come out anyway because we could still end up playing them in the play offs n i reckon if he were goin to re-sign at fax he would have done it already to give em a boost for the playoffs

Why would you drop Penky when/if you play Leigh ?

He is contracted to Fax' till Fax's season is over. Fax currently pay his wages. He is a professional player and would naturally do his best for his current employer.

After all he is/has been one of your better players this season.

You misunderstand me. I've always been a big fan of Penky's and am sure he would always INTEND to give 100% but, subconsciously, it's bound to be in the back of his mind and could easily put him off his game and I'm sure your fans would remind him, I know we would were the roles reversed.

Says in the Reporter that Leigh are poised to confirm the signing of Penky and that PR would not confirm or deny saying " We will make any announcement should it be needed at the appropriate time "

Paul said at the LISA meeting that one of our signing was still involved in the playoffs with another club , so unless that other club annouced the signing it would be kept quiet till they were out, he felt it wasn't our place to annouce it yet. I know we are acting professionly here and doing the right thing.
